RoServers is a browser extension that lets you choose which Roblox game server you join, based on its region and estimated ping. This policy explains exactly what data the extension accesses and how it is used. In plain terms: RoServers does not collect, store on any server, sell, or share your personal information. Everything it does happens locally in your browser.
RoServers makes network requests only to provide its core features:
games.roblox.com,
gamejoin.roblox.com, thumbnails.roblox.com) — to read
the list of public servers for the game you are viewing, determine each
server's region, and show player avatars. These are the same public endpoints
the Roblox website itself uses.ipapi.co) — to estimate
your ping to each server region, the extension performs a one-time lookup of
your approximate location based on your public IP address. Only your
coordinates (and city/country labels) are read; this is used purely to rank
regions by distance. The result is cached locally and refreshed at most once a
week.RoServers uses your browser's local storage
(chrome.storage.local) only. The following is stored on your own
device and never transmitted anywhere:
None of this data leaves your device. There is no RoServers account, no RoServers server, and no analytics or tracking.
The only third-party service contacted is ipapi.co, used solely
for approximate IP-based location to estimate ping. Roblox endpoints are
contacted to read public game/server data. RoServers is not affiliated with,
endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
You can clear all locally stored data at any time from the extension's toolbar popup ("Clear region cache"), or by removing the extension, which deletes all of its local storage.
